New Delhi: Motorola today announced the launch of its new smartphone Moto X Force. The sturdy phone comes with a unique feature- it has a shatter shield which prevents the display of phone from breaking when it falls on a hard surface. The handset is available at a price of Rs 49,999.

Its price may put it in the list of expensive phones, but a shatterproof screen might make it a worthy investment. Add to that the four-year warranty on the glass and you may just have had a good deal. Also, you'll never need to put on a screen protector.

Here is a quick look at some of the specifications of Moto X Force:

Battery

The users opting for this phone wouldn't need to worry about battery life. Motorola has put in  a non-removable Li-Ion 3760 mAh battery, which will provide you with a decent battery life. The phone also offers a turbo charging option for capable chargers, so users get quick charging in about an hour.

Operating System

It runs on v5.1.1 (Lollipop), planned upgrade to v6.0 (Marshmallow) with a chipset of Qualcomm MSM8994 Snapdragon 810.

Bunch of gesture
