The film got mired in controversies after former Censor Board chief Pahlaj Nihalani asked to chop off 48 scenes in spite of giving A certificate. The movie also has Shraddha Das who is portraying the role of a Bhojpuri B grade struggling actress.
In a Facebook live conversation with India TV, both the actresses revealed their experiences about working in the movie. Bidita's character is bold and independent, hence there are multiple intimate scenes filmed between her and Nawazuddin.
