Actress Alia Bhatt, whose debut film was directed by Karan Johar, will pay a tribute to the filmmaker with her performance at the Zee Cine Awards in Mumbai on Saturday night.

Alia will perform to a string of songs from films produced and/or directed by Karan.

She is performing to superhit songs from across Karan's films -- right from his directorial "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai" to his latest production "Badrinath Ki Dulhania", incorporating elements from various actors who have featured in his films, read a statement from Zee.

This is the first time she is performing at Zee Cine Awards, and it is even more special for her given the fact that she is performing just a day after the release of "Badrinath Ki Dulhania".

On a related note, Alia’s film, which also stars Varun Dhawan has received overwhelming response from the audience and critics alike. Further, trade analyst have predicted that the movie will become one of the greatest success of 2017.
