Ex-lovers Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, who have shared screen space in many films, will reportedly come together for a play to be directed by filmmaker Imtiaz Ali. The trio have previously worked together in ‘Tamasha’.

This is known to all that Imitiaz has a great love for theatres and the director also shares good camaraderie with both Deepika and Ranbir. Thus, latest reports suggest that the filmmaker is planning to cast both of them in a play which will be executed soon.

Imtiaz’s love for theatres grew as he became the part of dramatics society at Hindu College. He previously stated that theatres have been an important part of his life and has taught him many things.

It these reports turn out to be true then this will be a great news for all movie buffs who were waiting to see the famous Jodi of Deepika and Ranbir together.

 

After parting ways, Ranbir and Deepika worked together in Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ and Imitiaz’s ‘Tamasha’. The chemistry between Deepika and Ranbir was appreciated by the audience.

Imitiaz is currently working on an untitled project that featured superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma. Deepika is busy with the work of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’ and Ranbir is waiting for the release of his upcoming film ‘Jagga Jasoos’ alongside Katrina Kaif.
