Anushka Sharma’s, ‘Phillauri’, with its fresh content and quirky story line, is going to be a visual treat for fans. But Anushka’s choice of star cast in her home production films including NH10 has left everyone to wonder.

Whether it is of her rumoured link up with Indian cricketer, Virat Kohli or simply standing out with her extraordinary fashion statements, Anushka masters all the art of remaining in news. And it seems the actress wants to grab all the attention of the audience through her self-centric characters in all her home production.

Even in her previous home production, ‘NH10’, Anushka opted for a lesser known face, Neil Bhoopalam, as her co-star. While Anushka’s character ‘Meera’ in NH10 proved to be more powerful and also grabbed lot of eyeballs. 'NH10' was a female oriented film and the complete responsibility to drive the film forward seemed to be on Anushka’s shoulder.

Similarly, in her next outing ‘Phillauri’, the star cast includes Diljit Dosanjh, Suraj Sharma, Mehrene Kaur Pirzada and Nidhi Bhisht, who are again not so popular actors as comapred to Anushka. No doubt she would be the centre of attraction of the movie.

‘Phillauri’ is a story of a friendly ghost.  In the film, Anushaka Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh are playing the lead character, who are separated by destiny. After death, actress Anushka Sharma, who is a friendly ghost in the film, tries to haunt another pair, Suraj Sharma and Mehreen Pirzada.

It will be interesting to see to who get praised once the movie is out.

‘Phillauri’ is directed by Anshai Lal and is scheduled to release on March 24, 2017.
