Salman says Sridevi is much bigger than Khans, Kapoors and Kumars

In this male dominated Bollywood scenario, it is quite difficult for an actress to match up with their male co-stars. However, Sridevi is one name that Indian audience cherish and remember with awe. 

The veteran actress is loved by all and recently, the superstar Salman Khan was all praises for Sridevi.

The “Sultan” actor said that the actress was a much bigger star than any Khan, Kapoor or Kumar in the entire Bollywood film industry.

At a recent awards function, the poster for Sridevi’s upcoming film “Mom” was launched and, it was then that Sallu took to the stage and welcomed the actress with heaps of appreciation.

The actor lauded her for her talent, dedication, hardworking nature and professionalism.

Salman introduced Sridevi with pride and appreciation and said, “Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay (Kumar)... we have all done many films. Put together, we may have all done about 250-275 films. But there is one legend who is very talented, dedicated, hardworking and professional. She completed 300 films, after starting her career as a child artiste. Our work cannot even be compared to this legend — she is none other than Sridevi!”

On the other hand, the 53-year-old actress credited all her success to her family which has been a huge support system for her, all through these years. 

“Mom” will be Sridevi’s 300th film, a figure that looks simply amazing all the way.

The actress took to Twitter to reveal first look of her film “Mom” today with a powerful caption that read, “When a woman is challenged... Here's presenting the first look of MOM. #MOMFirstLook”

Besides Sridevi, the film has a fantastic supporting cast such as Nawazuddin Siddiqui (special appearance), Akshaye Khanna, Abhimanyu Singh and Vikas Verma. 

Pakistani child actors Adnan Siddiqui and Sajal Aly are playing the roles of Sridevi's children in the film.

Directed by Ravi Udyawar and produced by Boney Kapoor, ‘Mom’ will hit the cinemas on July 14 and will release in three languages- Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
