The Shubh Mangal Saavdhan Rocket Saiyyan song featuring Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar is out and, we must say it looks amazing all the way. Sung by Ritu Pathak, Brijesh Shandilya and Tanishk Bagchi, the first song of the film shows us everything that the trailer has said about an ill-fated Ayushmann and a free-spirited Bhumi. The track has been penned and composed by Tanishk-Vayu. Picturised on the lead actors gearing up for their wedding, the song documents their topsy-turvy journey as a couple dealing with a stigmatised medical condition.

The  Shubh Mangal Saavdhan trailer shows Bhumi as a desi, rustic woman who lives in a  traditional set-up but has a voice of her own and knows how to demand what she wants. Meanwhile, Ayushmann is a young salesman who is way less confident than his woman.

While the movie’s nub is Mudit’s (Ayushmann Khurrana) erectile dysfunction, the video also throws light on how premarital sex between consenting adults is seen in our society.

Shubh Mangal Saavdhan is the remake of Tamil comedy Kalyana Samayal Saadham. Being helmed by R.S. Prasanna, who directed the original, the film is jointly produced by Aanand L Rai and Eros. Starring Prasanna and Lekha Washington Kalyana Samayal Saadhan was about a big fat south Indian wedding with a quirky twist. This will be the second time that Bhumi and Ayushmann will be seen working together. The two were previously seen in the National-Award winning film Dum Laga Ke Haisha.
