‘Jacqueline bhabhi se heroine ban gayi’: Sidharth Malhotra jokes about his A Gentleman co-starSidharth shared the screen with the Jolly LLB 2 actor in Brothers where Jacqueline played the role of the actor’s sister-in-law.
Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez are coming together for the first in the film A Gentleman: Sundar, Susheel, Risky, which is all set to hit the cinemas on August 25. While the actor’s double role portrayal has been garnering all the attention, Sidharth seems to love pulling Jacqueline’s leg. The Baar Baar Dekho actor was recently talking about Akshay Kumar’s latest film Toilet: Ek Prem Katha when he jokingly remarked, “Akshay toilet kya gaya, Jacqueline bhabhi se heroine ban gayi.”
Sidharth shared the screen with the Jolly LLB 2 actor in Brothers where Jacqueline played the role of the actor’s sister-in-law. Hence, in a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Sidharth Malhotra joked about how his A Gentleman co-star’s status changed from his sister-in-law to heroine.
Sidharth and Jacqueline are often spotted hanging out together at several promotional events and other places. So, speculations are now flying high that Sidharth, who was reportedly linked to Alia Bhatt in the past, is now dating Jacqueline. However, the actor recently came to the forefront to clear the air.
In a recent interview with Mid-day, Sidharth Malhotra said, "Is it something about me? Barring Akshay (Kumar, his co-star in 2015 release Brothers), all my co-actors and I have been items."
Further the 32-year-old actor added, "It's sad that going out for meals and chilling together has such connotations in this universe. Apparently, comfort between co-stars is suggestive of something more than a good working rapport. People in show business aren't given the leeway to be normal”.
A Gentleman: Sundar, Susheel, Risky is produced by Fox Star Studios and is directed by Raj and DK. The movoe is scheduled to hit the screens on August 25.
