New Delhi: All the new projects are pleading in front of Chennai Express which is unstoppable and is least perturbed.

The flick which created history by entering 200 crore club is claiming more at the box office but got steady by last week's release ‘Madras Cafe'.

John Abraham starrer collected over Rs 20 crore within three days of its release while Chennai Express got firm and grossed over 10 crore.

Trade Analysst Taran Adarsh tweets, “MadrasCafe collected approx Rs 20.42 cr to 20.67 cr nett in its opening weekend. Breakup: Fri 5.17 cr, Sat 7 cr, Sun 8.25 cr to 8.50 cr.

Chennai Express collected Rs 10.48 cr nett in Weekend 3. Breakup: Fri 2.12 cr, Sat 3.61 cr, Sun 4.75 cr. Grand total: Rs 211.03 cr.”.

Madras Cafe started slow but but picked up later. The terrific word of mouth promotion should ensure a smooth run on weekdays as well.
