SRK had gone on a family holiday to Holland and London. On his way back he was carrying with him about 20 bags. The customs officials at  the airport interrogated him, while his family was allowed to go.

The interrogation was conducted by a team led by deputy collector, Customs, Sameer Wankhede.

Shah Rukh had to pay a duty of approximately Rs 1.5 lakh.

Customs commissioner, P M Govande confirmed, “Yes, he was interrogated but it is a routine thing. Whenever people bring stuff they have to pay duty on it. It was nearly Rs 1.5 lakh and the interrogation took time because he was carrying a lot of stuff.”
