One of the most anticipated films of the year The Fate of the Furious is doing wonderful business at the box office. The film is all set to break the record of Star Wars: The Force Awakens that minted $529 million.

The film collected huge amount from China. According to Taran Adarsh, Fate of the Furious has minted 188.85 million in its opening weekend in China. Tran tweeted, “While we rejoice over ₹ 100 cr, ₹ 200 cr, ₹ 300 cr, #Furious8 collects $ 188.85 million in its opng wknd in China. Truly EARTH-SHATTERING!”

The film is the eighth instalment of Fast and the Furious franchise. But, this time emotional resonance was not same due to the absence of Paul walker. Vin revealed in a video that he broke many times on the sets remembering Paul. He even stated that the scenes from Cuba in the film were homage to Paul Walker.

Along with Vin, the film also stars Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson and many more. The film is constantly being compared to Furious 7 and reviews indicates that the film failed to beat the previous instalment.
