Jaipur, May 1: On Friday, hours after the Royal Couple publicly kissed on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, another lovey-dovey couple Shane Warne and Liz Hurley kissed at the Sawami Man Singh stadium of Jaipur to celebrate the Rajasthan Royals win in an IPL match.
With the English model and actress Elizabeth Hurley and her son Damien cheering on from the stands, a Shane Warne-led Rajasthan Royals put up a gutsy performance to trounce the in-form Mumbai Indians at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Friday.
The two then publicly kissed to celebrate the win.
Liz and her son Damien have been travelling with the team, staying along with Warne and have been cheering the Royals in the last few matches.
It first happened with the Royals' win against Kochi Tuskers. It happened again on Friday after Royals romped home to an easy win over the visitors Mumbai Indians.
Shane has also been educating Liz about cricket. He has been giving her quizzes on her Twitter page and she has been actively responding.
PTI adds: Elizabeth Hurley is so in “love” with cricket that she missed the telecast of the royal wedding to watch a game.
The 45-year-old who recently filed for divorce from Indian industrialist Arun Nayar, has been travelling across the country to cheer her new love, Warne.
“Yes! Love cricket now. Dying for a re-run of the wedding on TV, missed watching it for cricket,” wrote Hurley on the micro-blogging website Twitter.
Warne, 41, is leading the IPL team Rajasthan Royals and the couple's public displays of affection in the stadiums has been splashed across newspapers. The ‘Austin Powers' actress was introduced to cricket during her trip to India with Warne.
Hurley watched her first IPL match at Mohali and then travelled to Bangalore and Jaipur. Rajasthan Royals, which won the IPL in 2008, have been buoyed by back-to-back wins on their home ground at Jaipur.
“Just watched cricket in the baking heat Jaipur. Nail biter. Well done, Royals!,” Hurley tweeted after the Royals defeated Mumbai Indians led by Sachin Tendulkar. Though Hurley has gradually started to understand the rules of the game, the hot Indian summer is making her sweat.
“Way, way too hot for me. We had to wolf all our chocolate in one go before it melted-that was our excuse, anyway,” she tweeted. PTI
