Dangal Review: Brilliant direction, powerful story and hardworking cast; surely a don’t miss flick
The much anticipated film of the year ‘Dangal’ is all set to fight the match tomorrow. But, a day before its release we have some words from the critics and needless to say Aamir Khan starrer has once again hit the right chords.
There is a saying that a bad story with a good director can change its fate. But, what if you have a brilliant director, powerful story and hardworking cast? The result is ‘Dangal’.
Right from the beginning it was known to all that the story of the flick was based on Mahavir Singh Phogat. But, the question was, will Mr. Perfectionist be successful in doing justice with the character? The answer is a big ‘yes’. Aamir’s acting in this film can be considered as one of the finest performances of his career. The actor shines as an adamant father.
When somebody is working with a superstar like Aamir, it is difficult to fight with the audience for attention. But, Fatima Sana Sheikh and Sanya Malhotra’s hard work was easily visible on screen. Though, you will never get the chance to take your eyes off from the star but the brilliance of these two ladies has clearly proved that two of them are the best finds of the year.
Sakshi Tanwar made full use of the chance to share the screen space with the superstar. The lady was flawless as the mother.
Director Nitesh Tiwari has done wonders with his art. The magic that he created left the people spell bounded. His idea of direction, impactful dialogues in Haryanavi wrapped with some enthusiastic tracks, ‘Dangal’ is clearly the movie of the year.
For all those who are busy in making Christmas plans, you can’t afford to give this film a miss, consider it a present from Santa Aamir.
‘Dangal’ is slated to release on December 23.
