The monsoon session of Parliament might have been the no-work only brawl period, but politicians made it sure that they put their most fashionable foot forward in whatever they are doing.
Though, political leaders and fashion sense have never gone hand in hand but it seems the time is changing really fast. This monsoon session, vibrant and cool colours, funky goggles, comfortable kurtas, leather shoes were among the favourites of the leaders.
Here a sneak-peek into the monsoon wardrobe of some of the reputed Members of Parliament.
1. Hema Malini
BJP MP from Mathura Hema Malini, after healing from serious road injury, attended Parliament session looking her best. Clad in soothing blue colour saree with floral prints, the former actress looked stunning as always.
Also, the big size goggles on her eyes made her look more fashionable and apt to the sunny weather in the national capital.
2. Arun Jaitley
Finance Minister Arun Jaitley always put a keen eye to his clothing for every public appearance and monsoon session was not an exception. The way he teamed up dark colour Nehru jacket with his light shade kurtas for appearance in Parliament is quite appreciable.
Thumbs up to his monsoon look!
3. Sushma Swaraj
Yes! We have seen Sushma in beautiful sarees throughout the year and she made it sure to make most of the monsoon season. The external affairs minister made her parliament appearance dressed up in light golden & pink colour silk saree with matching jacket.
And of course, her black goggles rounds up her look. You go Sushma!
4. Shashi Tharoor

Did you notice his leather sandals? Pretty-much monsoon friendly!
5. Sumitra Mahajan
The honourable speaker of Parliament has to look best from the lot and her beautiful light shade sarees perfectly do the trick for her. The ethinic border and cool colour of her attire really soothes the eyes of the onlooker.
6. Bhagwant Mann
Bhagwant Mann, one of the four MPs of AAP, is a newbie in the political gallery but he really knows how to grab attention. The singer turned politician landed up at parliament dressed in dark colour kurta teamed with bright yellow turban. Pretty impressive!
7. Asaduddin Owaisi
AIMIM leader Owaisi is controversy's favourite child but that doesn't affect his fashion sense in personal life. For his recent parliament appearance, he sported light colour buttoned kurta with cream colour skull cap. Must say! Mr. Owaisi is really in sync with the gloomy weather.
