Datia(MP):  Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today said an inquiry commission will be set up within two days to probe into the stampede near the Ratangarh temple that took a toll of 115 lives.

The chief minister was speaking to mediapersons after meeting the survivors of stampede in hospital.

Over 100 devotees were injured in the stampede, as they tied sarees and clothes to the bridge to escape the stampede.

The chief minister said, action against the culprits who spread the rumours will be taken within 15 days after the probe report is submitted.

He said action would be taken after taking permission from the Election Commission.

Chouhan said, he wanted to visit the scene of stampede but he did not get permission from the Election Commission, as Madhya Pradesh goes to the polls on Nov 25.
