Pak TV anchor Raza Rumi escapes militant attack, driver killed in Lahore

Lahore: In a daring attack, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan militants today fired at a a vehicle of Express TV's  senior TV anchor Raza Rumi, killing his driver. The attack took place near Gaddafi stadium. Raza Rumi posted

Lahore: In a daring attack, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan militants today fired at a a vehicle of Express TV's  senior TV anchor Raza Rumi, killing his driver.

The attack took place near Gaddafi stadium.

Raza Rumi posted on Twitter "Was fired at near Raja Market. My driver is wounded. I was dreading this day".

The driver succumbed to injuries at a local hospital.

Raza Ahmed, popularly known as Raza Rumi,  was on the list of TTP's targets.  He escaped with a minor injury and managed to shift his guard and driver to the hospital.

The condition of the guard is also said to be critical.
