From making people laugh with his goofy roles to leaving them spellbound with his intense acting, the legendary actor has entertained movies buffs across generations. From playing a lover boy to an angry young man and now an open-minded father and an old lawyer, the actor proved that only talent and hard work can survive in the industry. Though, it is hard to select favourites from his movies but we have made our list. Have a look.
Mohabbatein: The legendary actor was seen playing the role of a strict teacher in the film. His deep baritone added to his character. He shared the screen space with superstar Shah Rukh Khan in the film. Watching two talented actors together was a visual treat.
Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham: In Karan Johar directorial venture, the actor played an adamant father to Hrithik Roshan and Shah Rukh Khan. His wife Jaya Bachchan was also present in the film.
Baghban: Parents always make sacrifices to fulfil wishes of their children but sometimes when kids grow up they forget how they should treat their parents. Baghban beautifully portrayed the story of couple played by Big B and Hema Malini, who were continuously disrespected by their sons.
Paa: Big B played the role of a kid suffering from progeria in the film. If you look at Big in Paa, it will be hard for you to guess that he is the same 6 feet tall actor.
Piku: The actor played the father of actress Deepika Padukone in the film. He was goofy as a Bengali man who was suffering from constipation issues.
Pink: The film had a powerful story and some hard-hitting dialogues. The actor played the role of a lawyer who fight to save three girls. ‘No means No’ in Big B’s deep baritone still gives goosebumps.
