Perth, Apr 18: England cricket gear belonging to former allrounder Ben Hollioake has been stolen from the home of the deceased player's parents.

Former England one-day captain Adam Hollioake says thieves broke into the house in Western Australia and stole possessions that include his brother's bats, helmets, one-day international shirts, boots, sweaters and gloves.

Hollioake says police recovered half a bag of gear but that much is still unaccounted for.

Writing on Twitter, Hollioake asked his followers “to trawl eBay & any other site where these little maggots might be tryin to sell his stuff...”

Ben Hollioake died 10 years ago in a car crash in Perth, age 24.

Adam Hollioake is now a cage fighter in his native Australia.
