Barcelona, Spain: Levante won its first game of the Spanish league season on Friday when substitute Andreas Ivanschitz scored with the last kick of the game for a 2-1 victory at 10-man Rayo Vallecano.

Rayo looked set to earn a comeback draw when in the 79th minute substitute Joaquin Larrivey canceled out Ruben Garcia's opener despite the hosts being reduced a man in the 60th when Alhassane "Lass" Bangoura saw red for kicking Levante's Jordi Xumetra.

Rayo was even the more aggressive side playing with 10 down but Levante goalkeeper Keylor Navas made several saves before Xumetra broke free on the break and squared for Ivanschitz to score.

Elche forward Yiadom Boakye also netted deep in stoppage time to snatch a 2-2 draw at 10-man Almeria in a clash of promoted sides.
